The private catamaran south coast tour lasts 7 hours, departing at 10:00AM from Vila Franca do Campo marina. The route follows the dramatic south coast of São Miguel with stops for swimming, snorkeling, and onboard lunch.
What is the difference between VIP Experience and Classic Experience?
Our VIP Experience is a private and more refined experience for up to 8 guests, with a more intimate onboard atmosphere, food adapted to dietary requirements, free bar access and guided snorkeling when sea conditions allow.
Our Classic Experience is a private sailing tour for larger groups, welcoming up to 21 guests onboard. It is ideal for families, groups of friends, celebrations and relaxed company moments.
Is lunch included in the south coast sailing tour?
Yes. Lunch is included. The CLASSIC EXPERIENCE offers a Pic-Nic style lunch. Potable drinking water is provided throughout the day. If you choose the VIP EXPERIENCE (up to 8 guests) , we offer a Premium Lunch that can accommodate dietary requirements and you are also entitled to enjoy a FREE BAR and guided snorkeling service during your tour — let us know when booking.
Can I have the tour departing or arriving in another port than Vila Franca Marina?
Yes! You can opt to embark or disembark in Povoação Fishing Port, Ribeira Quente Fishing Port or Ponta Delgada marina. Embarkation in other port costs 200€ and disembarkation in another port costs 150€
Do I need to pay in full to confirm a private tour?
All tours require full prepayment to secure the boat, crew and date.
What should I wear onboard?
Swimwear, light jacket, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, soft bag, and comfortable shoes with white non-marking soles or barefoot. Boots are not allowed!
Can we pay by card onboard?
Card payments onboard are available for drinks purchased through the SailZen Floating Bar.
